The skills I use most in my job...

Attention to detail

The most interesting thing I've worked on in my career so far...

Creating the Global Information Governance Operations Center from the ground up. This was a real growth opportunity, as not only was I new to the firm and the role, I was also new to Information Governance. I contributed to the creation of the vision and strategy for this new team, recruited a team of Analysts, identified opportunities to create operational efficiencies across the Information Governance Programme, rolled out a global service offering and marketed the services of the new team.

What inspired me into digital and tech...

I became interested in my world, which is the intersection between technology and law, whilst undertaking my postgraduate studies. I was enthralled by the application of tech in the legal field, in particular, how legal tech can increase efficiency and productivity, optimise workflows, provide more value, and enhance client experience.

My educational background is...

I studied Law and Criminal Justice at Liverpool John Moores University. I then went on to undertake a part-time LPC LLM in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law, whilst working full-time at my previous firm, Addleshaw Goddard. I am a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and I recently attained my Certified Information Privacy Professional European certification.

What advice I'd give to girls thinking about a career in digital and tech...

If you enjoy problem solving, and have a passion for helping others, then digital and tech is for you…
