Being sent to a flagship store to test their newly installed shopping kiosk and no one telling the security guards that I was going or that the test I was going to do was going to make the kiosk enter its under attack mode - it was certainly spectacular

What inspired me into digital and tech...

Tech wasn't really an option for me when I was younger so it is defiantly something I have come to later in life when I was looking for a new challenge. There are so many different opportunities open in the Digital/tech arena, no two days are ever the same and it is a great feeling to know that millions of people are using systems you helped to put out there.

My educational background is...

My degree is BA in Primary Education and English - you might think this is a million miles away from my career but actually the skills I learnt in Classroom management and Communication have been invaluable.

What advice I'd give to girls thinking about a career in digital and tech...

Dont get pigeonholed in to a specific area early on - unless you have a calling! There are so many opportunities and the skills are so easily transferable that you can really try anything.
