Stakeholder Engagement – I work closely with engineers across Home Office DDaT and external organisations, bringing people together to collaborate on key workstreams.
Communication – As someone who bridges the gap between technical and non-technical audiences, clear and effective communication is at the heart of what I do. Whether it’s creating content for newsletters, managing digital platforms or hosting monthly engineering meetups, I ensure knowledge is shared and connections are built.

One of the most exciting experiences in my career was collaborating with Technical Architects on various projects. Stepping outside my usual responsibilities I gained new technical insights and even contributed to software designs, a challenge that pushed me to grow and expand my skill set.

My journey into tech was sparked by my brother, a Central Processing Unit (CPU) Design Engineer who encouraged me to explore opportunities in DDaT. With his support, I pursued technical and non-technical courses, took a leap of faith and haven’t looked back since!
My educational background is...
I studied a BSc in Psychology with Criminology at Nottingham Trent University. Since I’ve been at the Home Office and as my interest in tech has grown, I have followed my curiosity and studied a few short courses (Python Coding Bootcamp and Web Development) and have also gained further qualifications (Cloud Certifications – Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Microsoft Azure and British Computer Society (BCS) Foundation Certificate in Architecture Concepts and Domains) that have helped to shape and further my career.
