The most interesting thing I've worked on in my career so far...

Working on a project aimed at upskilling internal teams in order to enable cyber-focused client conversations. This involved working with a range of people and stakeholders, gaining an increased understanding of cyber and Atkins capabilities within the field. This project expanded my network and directly enabled me to increase my skills linked to Digital & Tech.

What inspired me into digital and tech...

I have always had a sense of curiosity about how things worked, so for me a career in STEM seemed the obvious choice. I went for engineering to get a better understanding of the world and help improve lives going forward.

My educational background is...

I am completing a MEng in Mechanical Engineering at Nottingham University. Focusing on thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and sustainability.

What advice I'd give to girls thinking about a career in digital and tech...

Just be you and work to your strengths, most technical skills can be learnt on the job; it’s an aptitude to learning that you really need. Just remember you have something to bring to the table, so be confident in your abilities and share your skills.
