Provide problem solving solutions and guidance on how to implement change for difficult projects whether they be setting up a Global Delivery Centre to delivering a complicated project which has many complex factors.

I am...
Pro-active
Organised
Encouraging
The skills I use most in my job...

Pragmatism / thinking outside of the box to find solutions for problems

People Management / enabling growth and identifying strengths, encouraging to push outside of your comfort zone

Client Management / the ability to use tact and diplomacy and build solid relationships with clients

Common Sense / believe me this is a skill that can be surprisingly lacking!

The most interesting thing I've worked on in my career so far...

That is a really hard question - its like picking a favourite child! Setting up our Global Delivery Centre has been very enlightening - understanding the business benefits is one very small piece of a complex jigsaw. Being aware of the differences with employment law and cultural differences and expectations has been challenging and interesting.

What inspired me into digital and tech...

To be fair it was by accident as I thought I had to be a 'clever coder' to gain a foothold in tech. Once I realised that my organisational and pragmatic skills were a strength that were not only required but necessary for any delivery success I was hooked!

My educational background is...

I went straight into work from high school as in my time of life, university was something that very few families could afford . I have never regretted taking the path I have into the senior leadership role I am in now as I feel I have learnt so much on the way to where I am now.

What advice I'd give to girls thinking about a career in digital and tech...

Never be afraid to experiment - the possibilities are endless whether you want to code, test or work in a support function. Play to your strengths and then this will help identify the role where you can add value.
