Job:
Senior Test Analyst
Company:
BJSS
I work for an IT consultancy as a tester which means that I get to go to different companies (clients) helping them solve their problems by analysing their system and identifying ways it could be used and issues that could happen. Usually the system is currently being developed by the company I work for although it could be a mix of client or purely client so I could be in the office of the company I work for or on site.

The most interesting thing I've worked on in my career so far...
I don't think I can narrow it down to just one, it's the diversity of the various systems that excites me, a fresh challenge so I've enjoyed working for smaller brands and large well known brands in tv/media, banking, healthcare, investment banking, tv set-top boxes, loan companies and retail.
What inspired me into digital and tech...
I've always been interested in IT, I'm quite practical and enjoy the creativity of it too. I like the problem solving and that no two days are the same as well as the fact I'm always learning which keeps it interesting.
My educational background is...
I had a slightly unconventional upbringing so I missed 3 years of high school. I've got 2 GCSEs gained in college while I studied a VCE (GNVQ) Advanced in IT then went to Manchester Metropolitan University to do an IT degree BSc e-Commerce Systems.
What advice I'd give to girls thinking about a career in digital and tech...
If you want to be a developer then great however that's not all there is to being in digital/tech, there's a lot of different roles, you'll always be learning, using your creativity, you will be managing your own time, meeting lots of people, there's travel potential etc
