WHAT DO YOU DO?

Manage the revenue and optimise car parking prices at Manchester Airport. Effectively setting 76,650 online price points every day. Visualising data is a large part of my role and one of the most important aspects of trading, this allows the most effective decisions to be made to grow the business. Continually developing trading strategies to ensure maximum benefit to the trading team at MAG, covering Manchester, Stansted and East Midlands airports.

WHAT'S THE MOST INTERESTING THING YOU'VE WORKED ON IN YOUR CAREER SO FAR?

The creation of an automated Revenue Management System. This in-house system incorporates a pricing rules engine to replicate a traders’ decision-making process with a demand forecast to allow trading decisions to be made automatically 24 hours a day.

WHAT'S YOUR EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND?

I studied A Level Mathematics, I.T, Business and Biology. Completed a Mathematics degree at The University of Manchester Further study during employment includes CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO GO INTO DIGITAL & TECH?

Working in tech alongside strong analytical skills gave me the confidence to make bold decisions and challenge the norm, being able to see the impact of these decisions (good or bad) is what motivates me every day.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO GIRLS THINKING ABOUT A CAREER IN DIGITAL AND TECH?
